I got my crafting mojo back BIG TIME this past weekend! I’ve been finding it hard to find enough craft time on the weekends to complete cards (I’m a slow crafter, lol) but I think I’ve discovered what will work best for me — stamping and coloring images on the weekends then putting everything together to complete my cards on weekday nights after work. I’m hoping to increase my card production this way…we’ll see how this works out!
I did manage to complete a card this weekend for the current MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge:
I colored in the adorable images from MFT’s Cool Cat with COPIC markers (individual colors used are listed below) then cut them out with the coordinating die cuts. I colored the tabby cat to look like my cat Mari — I plan on giving this card to her cat-sitter!
I stamped the MFT Balloon Strings Background onto the card front (I thought the strings looked like yarn) using Simon Says Stamp Fog ink then layered on MFT Steel Grey cardstock and patterned paper from Doodlebug’s Kitten Smitten 6 x 6 paper pad. The sentiment was stamped onto a banner made from grey cardstock using Versafine Onyx Black ink.
Thanks for stopping by!!
